Since 24 years Waridi works with african fashion designers to use fashion as a tool to communicate and rebrand Africa.

It’s important for her to give the people another point of view of Africa which contains that there are many vibrant young creative people changing Africa and the Image of it.

Waridi sees Africa as a greened apple to be eaten and loves it to put her whole energy into the capability of this stunning continent.

At the age of 21 she left Kenya to become a model, but she never stopped letting a part of her soul staying in Africa so that she feels a continuously solidarity to her homeland.

For Waridi, there is no perfect happiness. She thinks that she’s just able to recently realize acceptances.

Because only if she accepts things, then she really gets connected with happiness.

Furthermore she believes in changing minds. From this motivation she left Kenya and she definitely  changed many minds with the whole path she was going.

And the path will not end yet…
